Internship Towards SSI Assistant Instructor

Buceo Aqualia is an SSI dive centre in La Herradura, Spain, and the only SSI instructor training centre in the town. It is offering an internship that takes candidates through to SSI Assistant Instructor while they gain real experience in a working centre. The possible start date is 1 June.

The role:

• Assist instructors on recreational courses
• Guide dives under supervision
• Help with the daily running of the centre
• Support customer care and the customer experience
• Help manage and prepare equipment
• Build leadership and supervision skills
• Take a growing part in training students
• Prepare to progress towards Instructor level

• Priority for ITC places at the end of the season (the ITC itself is not included)

• Certified diver
• At least 10 logged dives
• English and Spanish
• Driving licence listed as an additional qualification
• Marketing knowledge or degree listed as an additional qualification
