Sailing Instructor - Summer 2027

The Rock Hall Yacht Club Sailing School runs an eight-week summer sailing programme in Rock Hall, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Now in its 24th year, it teaches children and adults aged 5 and up to sail or to sail better, and is looking for additional instructors for summer 2027.

The role:

• Teach sailing classes at Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced and Adult levels
• Teach sailing and water safety while keeping lessons fun
• Work mainly in Optis, Sunfish, Laser Radials and C420s, plus other boats in the fleet
• Work most classes Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm, at the Rock Hall Yacht Club on Langford Bay, just off the Chester River

What's on offer:

• $15.00–$18.00 per hour
• Housing may be available on request
