Yacht Manager

Hill Robinson is a superyacht management company offering yacht and project management, charter management, crew placement, payroll and recruitment. It is looking for a Yacht Manager to join its Yacht Operations Department in Antibes, France, acting as the central point for all vessel communications.

The role:

• Act as the main point of contact for captains, crew and owner representatives
• Track yacht positions, schedules and owner plans, and anticipate each yacht's needs
• Work with Yacht Finance to set and monitor budgets, and produce owner reports
• Coordinate insurance, communications, vendor and service contracts, and oversee claims handling
• Support compliance work with flag states, class societies and Port State Control, and help arrange refit surveys
• Advise on crew selection, certification, employment terms, appraisals, payroll and leave schedules
• Support yachts in emergencies, including incident reporting and insurance claims
• Guide the yacht administrator and build relationships with preferred vendors and contractors

• Full command of English, written and spoken
• Working knowledge of French; spoken is essential and written is an advantage
• Confident use of Microsoft Office, Teams and Zoom
• Ability to prepare clear reports and executive summaries
• Able to work under pressure, juggle priorities and take ownership of tasks
• Accuracy and attention to detail, and a flexible, positive approach to teamwork
