Chief Officer

Quay Crew is recruiting a Chief Officer for a 60m private motor yacht, currently in Italy. The role starts in mid August 2026 with a handover, followed shortly by an owners' trip cruising Turkey.

The yacht has a longstanding Captain and a family-style programme with steady owner use, cruising the Mediterranean and Indian Ocean. The crew is a good mix of nationalities with good longevity across all departments.

The role:

• Join the yacht in mid August for a handover with the outgoing officer
• Serve as Chief Officer on a 60m dual-season private motor yacht
• Work alongside an experienced Captain on a well-run programme
• Work an 8 weeks on, 8 weeks off rotation
• Support the owners' cruising programme in the Med and Indian Ocean

What's on offer:

• 6,500 euros, with a discretionary 13th month bonus
• 8:8 weeks rotation
• Good training budget allowance, with money set aside for courses
• Full package to be confirmed during initial calls

• MCA Chief Mate (CM 3000 COC)
• ENG-1 medical certificate
• STCW 95
• At least 2 years as 2nd Officer on larger yachts
• Experienced Chief Mates from smaller yachts will also be considered
