UI/UX & Visual Designer

Sunreef Yachts is looking for a creative, detail-oriented designer at its shipyard in Ras Al Khaimah. The role covers the user interface and visual design of the company's premium yacht software, along with custom visual assets that match the brand's luxury standards.

The role:

• Design intuitive interfaces for mobile apps (iOS and Android), large touchscreen desktop control applications and smaller embedded touchscreens
• Develop and evolve the premium visual identity, including logos, colour palettes and typography
• Design original, scalable icon sets and button graphics
• Produce user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
• Build and maintain a component-based design system
• Work closely with software and embedded developers, supplying production-ready assets and interaction specifications
• Design for real-world marine use, including outdoor readability and touchscreen usability, and act on user feedback

• Strong understanding of user-centred design, wireframing, prototyping and responsive design
• Experience designing for touchscreen environments and large-format control displays
• Knowledge of design systems, atomic design and scalable UI components
• Attention to interaction design, animation and microinteractions
• Understanding of accessibility and readability in high-contrast or outdoor settings
• Experience creating custom icons, logos and graphics for digital interfaces, and building a consistent luxury brand identity
• Familiarity with designing for retina and 4K displays
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; Adobe XD, After Effects, Principle, Lottie, Zeplin or Figma Dev Mode are optional
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and willingness to iterate based on usability testing
