Boat Builder / Marine Production Engineer

Sunreef Yachts is looking for an experienced Boat Builder / Marine Production Engineer to join its shipyard production team in Ras Al Khaimah. The role covers supervising the construction of luxury vessels and making sure structures, systems and installations meet the quality and safety standards of the superyacht industry.

The role:

• Supervise the construction and assembly of FRP composite structures and luxury yachts
• Coordinate hull fabrication, structural assembly and superstructure installation
• Oversee FRP lamination, mould construction and composite fabrication
• Interpret marine engineering drawings and work with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
• Prepare production schedules, estimate materials, equipment and manpower, and monitor costs and progress
• Coordinate with design, procurement and production teams to integrate marine systems during construction
• Liaise with classification societies and surveyors during inspections and certification
• Support quality control and compliance with shipyard standards and marine regulations

• Degree or diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or Shipbuilding
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in boat building, shipyard production or marine construction
• Strong understanding of FRP composite construction and marine structural systems
• Experience in shipyards or yacht production environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production plans
• Strong organisational, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA V5, ERP systems and Microsoft Office
