Furniture Designer

Sunreef Yachts is looking for a Furniture Designer to join its team in Gdańsk, Poland. The role covers designing yacht furniture and supporting it through production and installation.

The role:

• Design aesthetic and functional furniture and accessories that create cohesive, refined interiors
• Develop solid structural solutions and choose suitable fittings for durability and ease of use
• Prepare clear technical drawings for furniture production and installation
• Select materials and accessories for quality, appearance and intended use
• Calculate material and accessory requirements to support efficient production
• Take control measurements on yachts to ensure furniture fits the design precisely
• Support production and installation of furniture on yachts, with a focus on quality and timely delivery

• Very good knowledge of SolidWorks
• Experience in the furniture or woodworking industry
• Good command of English
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
• Creativity, independence and the ability to carry out assigned tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of furniture materials and their properties
• Experience designing furniture with premium materials such as sintered stone or travertine
• Nice to have: knowledge of marine fittings
